Catching Up…

Or at least I’d like to think.   I have some fairs coming up and that has kept up here at Madaline Jane very busy.  We are all a buzz about it and think it will be a fun experience (and a little scary too).   If you live in my local area shoot me a email and I’ll fill you in on all the details of where I’ll be!

Going up tomorrow is a beautiful collab I did with Tia of Over the Moon & Marcie of G-Button Baby. Tia dyed the yarn to match Heather Ross’ stacking dolls, which Marcie will hand-knit for you into longies made to your measurements. I made the shirred top. It’s a wonderful design, sized 12m, but it could accommodate a large range of sizes. This top could be a dress, tunic or shirt. It is something your girl could wear for years to come. I love the versatility of it and know you will too.

Today Is A Good Day.

Today I became an Aunt to a very cute little girl.  My SIL and brother welcomed their little girl, Koplin Lynn.  She is very precious and I await the time when I can hold her.  I got to say a very warm congrats to the new parents before I had to head home to be with my own kiddos.  I am so overjoyed to be a part of the parent’s and child’s life.  I know they will make wonderful parents.

So of course I wanted to make something special for this new little one.  My SIL love elephants.  So I was on the look out for something pink with elephants.  I knew I had seen something fitting and finally I found it on SM one fine day.  I hope the new parents like these two sets I will be gifting them later day.  There is also a hat and a blanket (of which is still incomplete).

Holiday Shopping Begins

New Things

My little baby is not so little anymore.  She is a mere 7 months old, still an infant.  But today she completed the first step in being a bit more independant.  She pulled up.  She did it unassisted, holding onto the train table (which doubles as a coffee table).  Everything is coming so fast.  I’m left wondering what happened between Janunary when she was born and now.  Isn’t she too little for this?  She doesn’t think so.
