As some of you might know I love industrial machines. I got my first one some time ago. It’s an old, and I mean old, coverstitch machine. I suppose I should have started with that one, but oh well. I’ll save it for another day. So anyway, my love of that first machine has inspired me to slowly replace all my home machines with industrials. I always thought a serger would be the first one I replaced. But DH suprised me with bringing home this Juki (my other machine is a Juki) lockstitch machine for Mother’s Day. Of course it’s used, as I like to get them that way. She is going to be a beauty I can tell. We had to convert the electric from 3-phase so I can use it at our home. The motor just arrived yesterday. Yeah! So with any luck I’ll have her up and running by the end of the weekend. I can’t wait to see all she can do.

Oh and I did finish my SWAP contest entry at exactly the last minute, no lie. It was midnight in California when I finally completed the last form. While I didn’t win, I’m so glad I finished. Really I did some last minute sewing too. So I will be showing that soon too.
