World Cup Knitting & Playing With No Subs
Today was the world cup final. I always enjoy watching the games, they are exciting. I do not however like the way it ended. Now I really don’t care which team wins, I’m just watching for the sport of it. But I hate to see a team win or lose based on a shoot out. While watching the game I finished my world cup knitting project. At least I’m considering it done. I had to seam it, but left my needle at home. But all the knitting is done and it isn’t called world cup seaming right! So done I am! Yipee! I wasn’t sure it would be complete. I’m sad to say that even the simple project, like my hat, is something I have to really work hard at completing. I guess little kids do that to you.
Here’s a picture of the Burda WOF design I’m going to do for DD. I have tried twice, unsuccessful I might add to obtain gauge. I had to order some more needles from ebay to try for gauge again.
And lastly, I played another soccer game tonight. I did not pass out or die or even throw up. And I might add we had no subs. We were actually going to have to start with one player down, until a miracle happened. That’s when one of our best players showed up! Oh and I should tell you all…. I didn’t get hurt. I know it’s another miracle!
